At Roots Snacks we produce ethnically sourced, organic snacks seasoned to highlight their natural flavour. Our snacks are to be enjoyed, one bite and you won’t want to stop. We make our crisps f rom a naturally grown root vegetable called Coco Yam which is well known for it’s nutritious value. Grown in the remote eastern and western regions of Nigeria Coco Yams are a natural source of phytoestrogen which supports feminine health, fights acne, keeps bones strong and promotes heart health. T hey are naturally low in starch so are a great for diabetic patients. Coco yams are used widely in the different regions of Nigeria for a multitude of culinary purposes. Due to the variety of strains they act as soup thickeners, can be roasted, boiled or f ried for a multitude of cultural dishes. But one thing stands, they are hailed for their health benefits.
